Spaniards are well known for their Latin passion. Now one nightclub has turned the heat up even higher by holding a ‘fever party’, where free vibrators were given away.

The bright pink sex toys were handed out to the first 400 women who came through the door at Cuomo, a club in the Valencia region of Spain, last week. The message on the flyer was “You’re going to vibrate”. Meanwhile men were given what organisers called the ‘consolation prize’ of free colourful condom and sexy gifts. It’s not completely surprising that a saucy night such as this would be held in the area – Valencia is well known for its vibrant atmosphere, playing host to colourful festivals throughout the year, including La Tomatina: a tomato throwing festival. This kind of playful spirit no doubt came across at Cuomo on Friday. The club is one of the best known nightspots in the region, and every week, thousands of revellers hit its dance floor to drink, flirt and dance the night away. Last Friday, we are pretty safe to say, would have been an especially popular night, especially for Valencia’s young female population. Who would have enjoyed a variety of sexy toys.

The Spaniards have done well in setting up such a kinky club night. While the idea is very innovative, this is by no means the first time club promoters have tried to tempt punters through their doors using sexy means. In Australia, one owner decided to attract people to his drinker by holding ‘No Undie Sundays’, where... well, I’m sure you can put the pieces together.
