Is politics sexy? Well, not usually. But voters can be... and especially those who vote for the Liberal Democrats, according to a new survey – which shows a massive 30% of them own sex toys!
Backers of the party were miles ahead of their rivals. When it came to the Tories, 22% of voters owned sex toys. With Labour supporters, 24% did. Lib Dems were most adventurous with their sexuality. 6% described themselves as bisexual, more than twice the amount for other parties.
Plenty of other fascinating – and surprising – facts about the sex lives of voters cropped up in the survey, conducted by research group YouGov. For instance, would you have guessed that over half of Labour supporters would confess to watching pornography? Or that Tory voters were the most likely to have paid for sex? Us neither!
It just goes to show that political doesn’t necessarily mean prudish. In fact, it seems as though those politics enthusiasts are quite a feisty bunch. Having said that, when it comes to our Prime Minister, voters weren’t so fired up. Not a single non-Labour voter said they would want to sleep with Gordon Brown.
Sad for him, we know, but at least his own party are with him. Well, sort of... 1% of Labour voting women ‘wouldn’t say no’. It was a different story for David Cameron, who won over 11% of female Tories on the same question.
The whole thing is quite bizarre, but it all mostly leaves us wondering: what vibrators would the different parties use? Well, we’d guess Conservatives would stick to their colours and go for a Blue Dolphin, while Labour would go for the red design of the Jelly Krystal Pink rabbit vibrator.
As for Lib Dems, since they seem to be most experienced in the world of sex toys, maybe they would want to try something a bit more unusual like the Rock Chick, which offers hands free orgasms.
Anyway, whatever their differences when it comes to politics, we think they’d all agree about the quality of these vibes! Why not place your vote and pick up a sex toy that takes your fancy today. After all that thinking about the big issues, it might just give you some much-needed light relief.
